Moneygate

The Moneygate Trust is a registered charity supported by the employees, partners and suppliers of the Moneygate Group.

Our aim is to raise money to support the work of charities in the North East of England in any of three categories:

   -   Children & Young People
   -   The Relief and Treatment of Cancer
   -   Community-based charities in the North East

The charity or charities to be supported are selected by the democratic vote of the employees of The Moneygate Group and all funds received by the Trust in that year are donated to those charities.

The Rainbow Trust in Hexham has been voted at Moneygate Trust’s nominated charity for the years of 2009 & 2010.

Here is a description of that they do on their website:
"Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness."

Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide practical support. We are contactable 24 hours a day for families in crisis from diagnosis, through treatment and even after bereavement.

Rainbow relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and through the generosity of our supporters we are able to help around 1,000 families a year.
